1. CS to finance, is much easier than biostat to financ.......at least CS is the best for some computational intensive quantitative finance role, but none for biostat.
2. career goal is the key point for decision
3. Columbia MFE is the best of its type among Columbia, over MAFN, MSOR, MA Stat......(let's put the MSFE of CBS out of the picture for the moment first). Much better program structure and network.........
4. finance is always competitive. either you go in and fight, or you aviod the whole package.
