A tel interview with HBS tomorrow. Need your urgent help: is it blind or not? what kind of questions will be asked during the 30 tel interview? How many questions? I didn't find 翩翩起舞's experiences with details. Anyone can help???

don't worry too much. HBS interview won't be so much different from those of other schools. guess you need to dig into every details of your application package first. this is the key. Due to the "hacker" issue, 翩翩起舞 deleted her post on interview experience. this is wise and reasonable. now cheer up and let's nail it down!

it is not blind interview, they know you well. But the interview will be more challenging.

The interview with HBS was not good: most questions were unexpected and drilling down. It lasted about 30 minutes. Some questions such as how did you regard XXX (one comment of my recommender), how did you choose your recommenders, how did you think of your application process, how did you do XXX (a piece of work), give me an example of XXX (a piece of work), what is your typical day, how did you solve the problem as XXX, etc.

Lessons:

1. fully prepared (i was overconfident of my onsite response and not go through the questions list in advance which proved to be a mistake)

2. don't use speaker. I used the speaker when talking. the result was that sometimes I didn't catch her words exactly and completely. and the interview was too strained to make me realize this and pick up the headphones

3. relax and speak in our own phase.

have to prepare other interviews and so far for now. good luck for every one.
