The interview with HBS was not good: most questions were unexpected and drilling down. It lasted about 30 minutes. Some questions such as how did you regard XXX (one comment of my recommender), how did you choose your recommenders, how did you think of your application process, how did you do XXX (a piece of work), give me an example of XXX (a piece of work), what is your typical day, how did you solve the problem as XXX, etc. Lessons: 1. fully prepared (i was overconfident of my onsite response and not go through the questions list in advance which proved to be a mistake) 2. don't use speaker. I used the speaker when talking. the result was that sometimes I didn't catch her words exactly and completely. and the interview was too strained to make me realize this and pick up the headphones 3. relax and speak in our own phase. have to prepare other interviews and so far for now. good luck for every one. |
