之前发过问题征集帖子，学长刚刚反馈，因为之前已经有两个同学提供了校友答疑，所以重复的问题没有问（比如和别的项目比怎么样）
下面是问题：
（1）你觉得在sd一年的总开支是多少，根据身边同学的状况可以大概估计一下区间吗？
（2）课程一共需要学习多少种编程语言，主要使用哪一种（据说是MATLAB？），实用性如何？（就是它在工作中的可能使用领域和具体工作内容，也可以说是为什么要学这些编程语言）
（3)课程难度对于金融本来说怎么样（高数 线代 计量 概率论 统计 运筹 建模 金融工程都学过，但是编程基本空白），如果在“非常难 很难 有些难 还好”四个选项中你会选择哪个评价呢？和MFE课程难度相比呢（如果你了解的话）
（4）在实习找工作方面，知道有trek和capstone project，前者是否已经体验过了呢？根据你的了解有哪些潜在的实习和工作机会呢？
（5）这个项目适不适合接着读PhD，有没有TA和RA的机会
学长回答：
1.如果不买车，正常生活一个月800-900刀。
2.主要学习matlab，再下一个quarter应该是sas。实用性主要是能快速将一些策略进行回测，做蒙特卡洛模拟，大量数据回归分析还是SAS好。业界学界都有用matlab但是感觉是比较初级入门。
3.看你这么认真提问的态度我会说对你来说只是有些难，只要有了基本数学计量知识和金融的框架，能handle的。据我所知的mfe主要是理工科想要转行的跳板，对编程数学要求要高得多，总体难度高于这个项目。
4我才从trek回来，体验参观了很多金融公司，silicon valley bank, dn capital, dfj, bloomberg 等等，公司确实很牛，但是参观的性质大于找internship的性质，毕竟很难做到让别人impressive，同时因为都是很牛的金融企业招聘的要求自然非常高。
5关于phd我们有好几个申了，我们的faculty都算是大牛了，他们写的推荐信对申博很有帮助。ta的机会也有。
