这题我选B，因为对肉的消费的总量是人均X人口，如果不能确定人口是否稳定那总量也无法确定。但是答案选E，解释是这题说的是人均基础上的变化，不是人口总体基础上的变化……我在想是不是可以这样解释，B选项说的是在这个国家繁荣发展期间人口保持稳定，但是结论是这个国家will需要进口BALABALA，而至今为止人口都稳定并不代表之后人口也会稳定，所以这个选项其实等于啥也没说……？不知道想得对不对，求大神点醒我！

这道题我做的时候也纠结了蛮久，最后选了E。

我首先把BCD 都排除了，因为我觉得都是原文完全没有提到过的。因为文章里没有提到过的东西比如人口啊比如income level啊这些东西和题目的逻辑链其实都是我们自己YY的不是直接联系，一般都是不对的。你看你自己解释了这么多，美国人或者说出题的人是不可能假设这么多的。

然后A我觉得和“domestic grain production will not increase”这句话的意思是一样的。一般和题干一模一样的也不对，so我觉得该选E

然后E说的的确也是对的。

虽然对E无异议，显然E更加正确
但是同不理解B选项，如果人口减少了，即使人均增加了，总量也不一定增加啊

我选了E，但是我对B也疑惑，搜索的过程中想明白了。B是说population 保持constant，那么consumption=per capita|x population...  meat的消耗还是会增加，同事gain给meat的部分会增加，所以这一道题目只能保证meat消耗多，不能表示gain消耗减少。如果gain减少，仍然不能保证结论。

E同时考虑了meat和gain的消耗。
