今天刚考完，心情还没平静，赶着上来贡献一点心得，同时求教！
自从一个月前决定考TOEFL以来，没少上来看JJ，获益良多，却因为忙，从来没有对本坛有贡献。今天终于有机会拿一点东西给大家参考。
我可能是坛子里最年长的虫了，在北美生活三年，从没考过T，记忆力奇差，曾在一年前花了两个月的时间才背10个张红岩的WORD LIST，（现在又忘了80%）！这一个月里平均每天有3个小时复习，总共大约用了100小时。我的强项（如果有的话），大概是听力，但开始做真题的时候还是错在8-11题之间。语法错在6--9题，阅读最差，基本错11--15题。一个月的复习，有成功的经验，也有失败的遗憾。我的经验是，每天保证做一套真题，四个星期，每星期攻一个主题，第一周听力，因为我口语还行，所以小对话基本没问题，而机考听力的长段子多，所以我用了大块时间横听，我用的加拿大阳光国际学院的听力资料，（也许新东方有），把各个学科的段子分类听，这样不但各学科的生词熟悉了，对可能出现的考点也有了感觉，今天我的听力考了26分。
语法是中国人的强项，却不一定是我的。而且我的复习方法也有问题：狂做题，却没有总结，直到“语法周”的最后一天，发现自己几乎没有提高，才开始翻“语法详解”，发现特别有帮助。我的经验是：不要费时间在分类训练上，象什么“主谓不一致”类或“连词误用”类，因为已经限定了范围，所以难度降低了很多。还是做真题，然后对答案，发现错误做出标记，然后再做，若连续两次都错，一定要看“详解”，会比你自己总结要有效的多，也省时间。我今天的结构部分得分13--29。
因为阅读是我的弱项，所以我把它放在第一周练习，也是拼命读，没有别的办法，如前所说，我的词汇量不够，但练习下来的感觉却是：TOEFL还是很有人情味的。我是坚持机考的方法，先读完文章，再做题。我发现有时第一遍我并没有完全读明白，但通过做题，反而帮我理解了文章。另外，机考的好处是：时间大把，不用担心做不完。但练习时一定要严格按笔试的时间。我今天阅读考了26分。
好了，来到我最头疼的写作了。因为时间安排出了问题，我到考前三天才开始练习写作，时间完全不够用。写了六篇文章，只有一篇勉强在30分钟内完成的。这里我不敢说什么经验，教训是：思路一定要清楚，如果有时间，最好把题库里每一题都列一个写作提纲，同时把例子都包含进去。下面我把今天的写作题目和我的文章放上，献丑了，请各位大侠帮忙评评，能拿5分吗？

There are different ways for people to learn. Some people learn by doing things; other people learn by reading books; others learn by listening to people talk about things. For me, I prefor to learn by listening to people.
As we all know, life is short. A person can not do everything just for learning, especially something which will take a long time to do. For example, if a young man wants to know what the marriage means, he just gets married with a young lady, no matter who she is. It is exactly a stupid try. So doing things is not a good way to learn.
Second, books don't consist every thing we want to know. Eventhough there are plenty of books avalable, it will takes long time to read a book. Time is changing, but to write a book requires a quite long time, so it is not always good for our situation. For example, young parents wants to teach their toddlers by reading book, they will find that the book is already out or fashion.
But learning by listening to people's talk is another story. When I need some knowledge, I can talk it with my parents, teachers and friends. What they told me are their own experience or their special knowledge . Talking with people helps me to gain pratical and useful knowledge in a short time.
In short, learning by listening can do better than by doing or by reading. It is a wise way to gain knowledge in this fast pace time.
