Aren't they the same thing? My understanding is that financial aid ranges from tuition waive to additional stipend.

Thank you iamdodo.  If they are the same, that means if the schoolsays (in their website)that financial aid is just for citizen orresident, we can not get anything, right?

Financial aid should also include loan. I guess the school you mentioned
is talking about loan, which is available to citizen, PR.Sometime if
you can find a green-card holder as co-signer, you can finance your
study as well.

I was first offered $15,000 fellowship per year in the mail package. Then after arguing with the school, I was given $25,000 per year. In my mind, ND is really nice, but I might need to give it up as the school requires deposit within one month of admission. It's too early to make my final decision.
