IC （帝国理工）金数 王牌专业 共40w读不起啊 除非让家里贷款了 不过项目是可以 但这个承担着留英的风险 回国几乎没用 但是IC金数能留英还是算比较多的
LSE没申请 我觉得它家的王牌专业我也申请不上 它家的金数也没有IC好
<---agree, maybe you should look into Oxford MSc MCF also, and Warwick MSc MSc FM, of course tution are both as expensive. (maybe also Cambridge MPhil Fina)
新加坡（以后这个概率较大）
NTU（南洋） 30w 不过据说是坡县最好的 <--------with cooperation with CMU, they can always charge a premium on it.
NUS（国立） 20w 个人倾向 但是要进投行 需要top1 吧 <------not necessary top 1, but need to be really top of the class.....and good english (7.0 will be okay in general i guess, for quant/risk). try NUS MFE, and then the NUS QF from math+stat+econ afterwards.
SMU（管理） 20w 顺带着申请 据说不错 <------what they are best for is more on management and career training, and thus why salary report looks good. what I will doubt is if they can have a good enough class for really solid stuffs....
香港20w左右（几乎不喜欢这个地方 搞什么占中啊~~） <------ if you have this mindset, i will say you better stay in China - protesting and strike is very common, indeed part of daily life, in all the country you list, except Singapore.
港科金数 号称亚洲专业第一 <------- actually it is hard (and useless) to say who is number 1. just like it is not comparing UST with NUS/NTU, but comparing HK with SG.
港大 只有金融可申请 <------they MFin in FE is a mixture of CFA, and FE stuffs, half half. good or bad, see if you like that. I dont like that personally as I believe getting as much as technical / mathematical stuffs in school is much better as CFA can be taken by myself.
港中文 还没打开他家网页 <------ you can skip, they have good researcher but not any program in MF/FE. MSc Fina is not FM, risk one is more about risk only, and the one in SEEM cannot be counted as a FE master anyway.
加拿大（可是他们家好像是考GRE OMG！） <------- just take it, they look at GRE quant only most likely, and which is a piece of cake, do it with one day of preparation, and you will get a near full mark in quant part.
UT金数应该会秒拒 <-------- it is very expensive too
滑铁卢同可以试一下 <---- waterloo MQF is a good choice, at the same level as Toronto (heard to be the only 2 target quant school with toronto), but much cheaper tuition. definilty worth trying.
UBC金数试一下 <------ does UBC have a master on FM?
欧洲
两所吧 ETH和EPFL 申请费好贵100欧
而且几乎留不下来 有微小的可能吧
因为要完成外语（德语或者法语）的学习+找工作 但地方和学术真的很好啊
<-------- both top, swiss is even more difficult to stay then UK. lanauge will be ok (for graduation) if they require A1 only. for ETH (also EPFL but less), try to look in german maybe a reasonable solution. try TU Munich one also.
Paris VI M2 Prob and Fina is another top one, but not sure if need french or not.

好的MFE我一般申请不上吧 语言不够啊 而且上了也读不起 有木有亲们知道 我这个背景能申上的 可能拿些小奖的？试一下也好 注意我考的GMAT 不是GRE 时间太紧 就考GMAT了

保底学校：
UCL金数/爱丁堡金数？ 这个是不是不要去申请了 贵30w而且绝对留不下来 前面有牛剑LSE IC 回国没用
<----- (amended) still can consider this two. UCL should be enough if one is good enough, and one had to really work very hard for Edinburgh as the program is up to quality but Edinburgh is not a target (and thus difficult to land a job unless you have related experiece)
香港：
港理工 什么投资管理？忘了 两年的

thinking of switching from FE, to consultant/ strategy through a MBA after a few year work in ibank (not necessary ibank but can be also other firm in financial industry) is.......well......i will somehow question about.
what people values on the general business side is one's sense and experience in certain industry, in additional to soft skills like communication and presentation and etc.........
i will quite doubt if you can get to world MBA standard that easily about a few year of works which are basically focued on numerics or even programing........i dont mean impossible, but that's a challeuge.... |
