De-extinction, the genetic technology can bring the extinct species back to life.
Now the technology can already help us to make this proposal come ture.
But the much more important question: should we?
Now we know a lot about the mamaoth, enough for us to make the judgment that wheher we should bring it back.
The answer may be no that we shouldn't.
1 mammoths may have some disabilities to prevent them from surviving by themself.
2 We need to evaluate the nutriment that they need to survive and whether we have enough nutriment for them.
3 Mammoths maybe can not get used to the changing climates today made by humans.
4 Mammoths may have some side effcts on the modern elephants or some small mammals.
5 de-extinction may be a pseudo-proposition, the thing itself may not be like it sounds. Cloning extinct species may actually be more about us humans than the wildlife we care about.
In conclusion, we should pay more attention to help save species in the face of pre-extincion.
