Barack Obama won the election in 2008 and became the first black president of United States. This is a significant event American history that it gives a new answer to the American racial problem and forever change the way this country thinks of black.Although there is stilll a long way to go to totally conquer the racial discrimination, with a fantastic turning point like this, the improving matter would be much easier.

When referring the hero who made a great contribution to struggle for jutice in American history, the one that we should never forget is MLK-----Martin Luther King, a great fighter against racism and the figure that was most admired by American from the 20th century. Such great figure like MLk should be put on the American money with on doubt. All we have to do is to decide one historic figure to be kicked off a bill. The answer can be very clear——Andrew Jackson, the one on every $20 bill.

The Indian Removal Act and the Trail of Tears made the Choctaw Nation loess uo to a third of its population on the death march, and these campaigns were promoted by Andrew Jackson. He engineered a genocide. Even is historical context, his racist policies were controversial, but he ignored all these controversial decisions. Compared to Jackson, MLK is definitely a more deserving symbol for the $20 bill.

Besides all the merits of MLk, his diversity would add the currency goes far beyond skin color.
