I think only two S16 schools offer one-year program - Northwestern Kellogg and Cornell Johnson.
The major disadvantage of one-year program is the lack of summer internship opportunity. Therefore, students from one-year program are relatively less competitive in seeking full-time offers upon graduation.
However, if your past work experience is heavily related to whatever you want to pursue after MBA, and you've already hold another master degree, one-year program sounds like a better fit for you.
In terms of tuition, it's actually not saving you that much as a top one-year program can cost you 80-85K. But you do save from paying less rent and other expenses for the shorter stay. |
