考虑到这篇帖子的受益人大多是15 16fall申请的弟弟妹妹们，如果发现有信息不准确的请及时留言或者私信我，我会尽快更正，尽量不要误导了大家。

以下是我了解得比较详细的学校信息外加我自己的吐槽版本.信息可能不太准确，因为很多不是官方说法，大家如果有怀疑请自己联系admission核实
1.GWU
syllabus非常详细,课程内容也是比较扎实的。
需要WES，面试5min，面试完一两天就会给ad，定金350刀
项目的Director:  Dustin人也挺好~和他来来往往10+封邮件，每封他都很认真地回复我，我把邮件的具体内容整理一下po给大家（已经经过他同意）....
有的信息已经过时，大家可以直接联系Dustin，真心大好人
和Dustin的详细问答如下
1）.有多少国际学生，中国人比例是？
we are anticipating about 40 incoming students for the Fall including about 10 international students, a majority of whom will be from China.
2）DC的就业/实习情况？
These are great questions about internship options and potential career options for international students.  While Washington, DC does offer many career and internship oportunities that are associated with the federal government and can require US citizenship, there are many other opportunities in Washington, DC that do not require citizenship.  Many analytics firms, some of whom are members of our Corporate Advisory Board, have significant presence here in DC and work with both public and private sectors.  Our practicum project options, which allow our students to engage in a real analytics project similar to an internship, focus on opportunities available to both domestic and international students alike.  Additionally, as a STEM designated program, your OPT can be extended for up to 17 months, which is quite attractive to analytics firms looking to hire international students for internships and other opportunities.
3）项目的就业率？
While our first batch of students will not graduate until this summer and therefore are still very much in the process of figuring out their plans after graduation, we have had a great deal of interest in both our international and domestic students alike from leading analytics firms such as Deloitte, IBM, Marriott International, and Lowe's, just to name a few.  We anticipate strong strong placement numbers for all of our graduates, although that process is still ongoing.
4）能详细介绍一下Practicum吗？
The practicum projects allow students to work closely with our faculty and representatives and mentors from one or more of our Corporate Advisory Board partners to work on a real world application project.  Students analyze and have access to real data sets that allow them to apply the descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics tools they learn in the program to solve real and potential problems to improve process and decisions.  The practicum project starts during the spring semester for full-time students and is completed during the summer term.  Students will then present their findings and analysis to our full faculty and Corporate Advisory Board towards the end of the summer.  While it's not a specific internships, you will work closely with the representatives and mentors from the organization you work with and depending on the availability of that specific data set, time at the organization may be possible or required.
5）项目时长？中间能不能找实习？
Our full-time program can be extended to 12 months (from August to August), however for international students it cannot be extended beyond that.  CPT is available, however given the rigorous 1 year curriculum, we do not advise taking an additional internship while in the program.  A majority of courses are conducted in the evening.
6）能不能做TA？有没有奖学金？
Our students may be eligible for TA positions, however those are not typically established until the student arrives on campus and can arrange it with the faculty member.  Most 1st year students do not engage in TA positions, but some have in the past.  We do offer scholarship application opportunities, which you can find at http://www.gwanalytics.org/about/financial/.
Scholarships will be reviewed after the May 31st deadline.  We offer scholarships that are either for 1 or 2 semesters.  There unfortunately is not another opportunity for international students to apply for scholarships once in the program.  
7）DC是不是对国际学生找工作不利？和NY比呢？
Washington, DC is a very international city, and while New York is the financial capital of the world and always offers excellent career and internship opportunities, there are many opportunities available in Washington, DC.  While the U.S. Federal Government typically does have citizenship requirements, there are many international organizations and priviate institutions established in DC that can offer excellent opportunities for international students, especially here at GW.  We are just a few blocks away from organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and numerous global private and public institutions.  The only real limitation for international students are U.S. government internships/jobs and other organizations that only work with the government.
8）什么时候可以申请CPT？
Unfortunately, because our program is only 1 year long, you would not be able to use your CPT option until your summer semester at the earliest, during which time you will be actively engaged in your practicum project anyway.
9）可不可以拿SAS证书？
As for SAS certification, we plan on offering that opportunity for students next spring and we do definitely cover SAS in detail and offer periodic workshops throughout the program run by SAS experts.
10）可以选别的院的课吗？
To answer your latest question, we definitely encourage our students to take courses outside of our department.  In fact, we already have students taking courses in our marketing, finance, statistics, computer sciences/information systems and technology, and geography departments.  These courses count towards the students' application/elective requirements in the program.  Unfortunately, we cannot extend the program for you to take coruses beyond the degree requirements, as that would violate your visa parameters, however you can take courses beyond the 33 credit hour requirement as long as you do so within your 12 month course timeframe.
11）可以waive course吗？
Regarding your question about waiving courses, we do allow students to waive courses if they have taken the course at the graduate level and the course is direclty equivalent.  Based on your description, it unfortunately appears that the courses you have taken are at the undergraduate level.  However, our faculty have been open to seeing if they can replace some courses in the curriculum for certain students who are able to display a very high aptitude in certain areas.  Additionally, I would stress that our graduate level courses cover these topic areas in more depth and detail than do undergraduate courses, as well as put these topic areas in the analytics context.  I would worry that you would be at a severe disadvantage by not taking our Statistics for Analytics and Stochastic Foundations courses with our analytics professors as many of our later courses feed directly off of these courses.We can look into potential course waivers based on your previous course work, but that will have to be reviewed by our Business Analytics Academic Committee.  I will put together an application form for you and you can submit a waiver application with syllabi of the courses you are attempting to apply.  
12）商学院的career service？
Regarding career services, our GWSB Career Center does work with all GWSB students and our jobs databses are open to the entire GWSB community.  However, our career center does have advisers who have experience in careers in analytics that work with our students directly and set up specific information sessions and networking opportunities for analytics students.  Additionally, our Corporate Advisory Board and Business Analytics Student Association are devoted specifically to helping our MSBA students with career development and opportunities.
13）3学分的BA workshop是指？
The Business Analytics Skills Workshops are designed to cover the practicum as well as other seminars and workshops on a variety of analytics topics, such as specific tools and programs (SAS, SPSS, Hadoop, Python, R Language, etc.), communication skills, project management skills, leadership and team dynamics, and ethics and security policies in analytics.

GW的优势个人觉得是那个Practicum,LZ觉得political analytics听起来还是挺炫酷的~ 回国还能给HR吹吹牛逼嘛~~~而且对nonprofit方向感兴趣的同学应该在DC还是挺好的~
劣势在于项目比较短 12个月 一去就得准备找工作？

2.RPI
RPI本来是两个学期30学分的项目，但可延期至三学期，前两个学期按学期收费，第三学期按学分收费，就是你可以只选一门课，就只收3学分的费，每学分1800+刀
可以跨院选课，希望加强自己coding的同学可以尽管选工程学院的课
特别要说的一点是，RPI有一个专业就业率是100%的，但不在商学院下，是MSIT项目，可以用GMAT申请
MSIT有几个track,包括很火的data science和financial engineering，所以我个人推荐弟弟妹妹们去直接申请MSIT（如果软件功底扎实的话）
以往有过商学院学生转到MSIT的项目，我问过RPI在读生，学长的原话是如果想转必须修一门data structure，那门课难度很大，讲的很快，有些同学坚持不下来就中途drop了……
以下的信息来源于RPI在读的学长学姐,对你们表示感谢.
1.可不可以waive statistics？
可以，但是入学前得考一门相关考试
2.学了哪些软件？
SPSS,R,MySql,Matlab
3.有奖学金吗？助教呢？
没有奖学金，助教在第三个学期可以申请，工资较高
4.校招情况？
来得都是比较tech的职位，但是整体来说ba需求较大，就看自己能不能hold住了
5.项目人数，国人比例？
去年是25人，同胞大概10+
6.学业压力？
可大可小，看自己的选课而定，工程院的课有些课压力非常大
RPI到NY和Boston大概需要3-4小时，中途需要转车~没有定金

3.SMU（南卫理公会大学）
Dallas地霸不说，MSBA这个项目的Director Hettie是Dallas Accenture的Par.......牛人一只年收入50万刀......学校中国人少
唯一的不足就是项目真的太短了，只有9个月，两个学期，而且不能延期，对国际学生来说找工作比较紧张
个人感觉SMU的课程跟GWU的组织有点类似，很多1.5学分的小课，有IT和mkt两个track，Hettie推荐国际学生选择IT的，比较好就业
每个申请者都要面试30-60min，是由Hettie面的,定金1000刀
在开学前会有bootcamp进行SAS和SQL培训

4.UMN
(女神项目！！！！女神你好美啊啊啊啊 T T)
UMN的学术实力真的很牛，mis排名也高，项目的课程也非常之intensive
六月上旬就开学
整个项目1年，programming skills strongly preferred，非常selective......
强推项目，感觉以明苏的实力，在这个项目中是可以真正接触到big data的前沿


其实还有的好项目,
比如华盛顿圣路易斯的customer analytics，一年或一年半完成，喜欢Market Research的孩子们可以关注
圣母大学也出business analytics了，个人还是比较喜欢圣母这个项目，有很多Project,春季开学
MSU也是春季开学，申请者最好具备编程背景

Update: 给15申请人的一些tips：不要迷信USNEWS，不要迷信中介，不要做伸手党。等你发现自己too young too simple的时候，已经来不及了。
