针对大家最关心的就业问题,小米专门发了邮件给学校Career Service的Director,得到了官方的回复~
Question:
What are the employment rates of GMBA, MSF, and MKT?
Answer:
- We are not ready to publicly announce a GMBA rate.
- MS (Finance and Marketing) are combined into one summary “rate”.
- Percent employed by graduation date or within three months was 91% (2012/2013) and 92% (2011/2012).
Question:
Among the Chinese students in these programs, how many percentage got a job in US, and how many percentage went home for a job in China?
Answer:
- We summarized prior years Current Employment by either permanent or “non-permanent work authorization (F1, H1B, etc.)”
- Of those reporting and indicating non-permanent work authorization – 84.8% were employed. (Of that , I could not report Chinese student only; but of course you know Chinese students represent a large part of the demographic).
- An additional 2% (of the non-permanent work authorization population), reported they were not seeking a job because they – Started their own business.
- I do not know the percentage who went home (or to any country) for a job. It is not a question we ask in the self-reported survey. (You can assume it covers some portion of the remaining 13%)

至于GMBA的就业情况,Director说:
Inthe near future, we will be able to post a set of metrics related to the GMBAgraduates on our internet page. Weare continuing to refine the content of our reporting (based on surveyquestions) and we are also further developing content at the program level. 不过MS的同学不必急于看GMBA的就业情况,GMBA的数字对于MS的同学来说其实没有太大的参考价值~因为GMBA的学生构成和MS不大一样,一来工作经验比较丰富,二来创业族较多~
