Thanks so much Jon for the comments.  Contacting potential employers is definitely a good idea!

I know a few differences between German Accounting Law and IFRS. Think differences are very limited, which will be even  less with the convergency of two different laws. As auditor one must know the differences very well, but guess requirements in industry are not so stringent. I hope I would be able to go to industry rather than Accounting firms.

But surely I will check with some contacts in Germany, to set myself on the safer side.
