(In computer Lab so no Chinese = =) A senior Baruch undergraduate students. Lots of my friends get offers from WSL and BC, few get UIUC. Half choose to change a place and enter a better well-known school. However, half choose to stay in Baruch for MSA. Just a short list of some reasons for Baruch: 1. Location is no better. 23rd street & Lexington AVE, downtown Manhattan. 2. Tuition fee is one of the lowest schools in U.S because of public school status in NY (Undergraduate $510/Credit, which means less 20K dollars a year. Graduate fee is higher but not such terrible number). 3. Business internships. Among my Chinese friends, four get JP Morgan and two get E&Y internships. Not easy chances but many opportunities. 4. Living expense is not such huge as your think. It mainly depends on your living style. BTW, NY is a giant city which means you can go to many inexpensive Chinese restaurants for lunch. |
