请问ivey对中国大陆的学生，不是移民，有什么样的奖学金和贷款吗？好像一般都需要由加拿大的担保人？他们会给很多的助学金或提供担保人的贷款人给大陆学生吗？

Information for International Students

Currently, Canadian bank loans and student loans are available to Canadians or landed immigrants.  However, international students have been able to obtain loans through the International Student Loan Program (ISLP).  For further information on the ISLP including eligibility, visit www.IEFC.com.  Questions can be addressed at contact@IEFC.com.

The Paras Education Foundation also provides loans to international students studying abroad.  For information visit http://www.isloan.org.

Thank you for sharing the links with us. May I ask you two questions since I am going to Ivey this summer?

1) I paid my first deposit on Feb. 1st,2005. When can I get the student number from the university and what can I present as a payment proof for exchange permission for the second tuition deposit?

2) I have registered in the MSN group link almost ages ago, but have got no reply ever since. What additional documents or emails I have to present in order to join the Ivey2006 MSN group?

1) Regarding student number, I think after you paid the first deposit, you will get a package from Ivey. Student ID should be in it. I am not sure about your "what can I present as a payment proof for exchange permission for the second tuition deposit?" question. Could u pls clarify it?

2) MSN group . Sorry for that. If you can apply again and write some messages during application, I highly appreciate it.

Thank you for your instant reply. Actually, if you are going to remit foreign exchange out of China, you need to show the bank staff your proof for tuition deposit payment due to exchange controls in China. So I present the proof of first tuition deposit when I asked to issue the bank draft to Ivey, agian there is a problem of justifying my second payment to Ivey.

By the way, I am asking whether you can recall the lead time between when you paid your first deposit tuition payment and when you get the package stating your student number from the Ivey.

Oh, I see. I have no idea of it because when I applied Ivey last year, I was in Canada. I will check with my classmates who had the experience of it.....

I believe if program office got your tuition, your package should be on the way.  But I remembered that as long as you accept the offer from web site, you will get your package, in which it includes formal ivey offers, scholarship offer and UWO graduate admission offer. You can find student ID on the UWO offer of admission (purple). This package should be sent before your first tuition.

If you are really very concerned of it, you had better contact with program office or admission office for detail....
