Firstly congratulations for your professionalism and passion presented during the interview with CUHK. As 2014 in-take MBA candidate, I welcome you and wish to be alumni with you soon.
It is said to hear you have been challenged so much by Lawrence but I believe in another sense, he is trying to figure out a critical issue 'why MBA now' and most importantly, manage your expectations after MBA graduation. Despite CUHK MBA is the most traditional MBA programme at Hong Kong, a critical trend for post-MBA job hunting at Hong Kong is that the Hong Kong graduates are always competing with graduates from North America, Europe and China mainland (CEIBS in particular) especially in consulting industry and investment banking industry - which are renowned for employers to be specially picky in selecting only top schools graduates and featured in long working hours, good payment AT THE START and unstable employment status.
Even though you only have three years working experiences at BIG FOUR - now that there are PLENTY OF candidates out of BIG FOUR for MBA schools worldwide and you cannot change the fact of your employment status, you may still put strong emphasis on the casual connection among your current vision, your solid career background and the skills/knowledge to be delivered by CUHK - to prove MBA is a MUST for your career switch/advancement RIGHT NOW. Be strong and always remember that you are negotiating with the school in a fair manner rather than begging themselves. Convince them that having CUHK MBA education is a compelling demand for you with sound reasons - in a logical sequence and you will be all right.
I have witnessed some candidates with similar background and interview in past years and they have been awarded of an offer eventually.
You are a negotiator. Good luck.
