generally how many admits does stanford offer to mainland every year? Just browse bw forum and find 2 offers are issued to asia pacific.

Congratz!  I made the dealine for round 2, now anxiously waiting.

As far as I know,  Stanford admits about 4 to 5 chinese passportholders every year, including those working in the US. The Chinesealumni have been pushing the school to admit more Chinese students butas it is very competitive in Stanford (less than 400 students in eachclass), the number hasn't changed much in the past 5 years.

So far, I . knew one more Chinese who's admitted to Class 07.

As far as I knew, 2 guys in BCG got the call from S too. If you r not one of them, then S admited at least 3 persons in R1. If they only plan to admit 4-5 in total, then R2 applicants' chances are really slim (given that R2 has the most applicants applying). Sigh.
