我不是很确定哎，你可以去问一下Steven Sweldens，他是coordinator。我没申UWM，他们在1月中旬已经发面试了。

Maryland already finalized their shortlist... I am not one of them as they are not interested in having a theoretical modeller....

I have a collaborator for my research paper who is the director of PhD program, he said everything is finalized and they already noticed all the people on the list.... The decision was made by the committee so sometimes it is a little bit out of our expectation...

是不是phd coordinator自己再加一两个人就把shortlist 定出来了，然后再committee根据面试再一起看最后的20-30个shortlist？
