Yale Interview

看了看status，和我submit时候的一样，没有任何变化。不知道在大陆的有xdjm作过interview了吗？焦急啊，不知道到底进行到什么状态了，也没有学校写来的信通知说什么资料不齐，牛校都是这个样子的吗？（申请的top10的学校都是这样，没有回音）

Yale is still processing R2 applications. I called  Admission office about my on-line status. They were really nice about it and told me that it may take another week or so to finish processing all R2 (i.e. matching paper documents to on-line applications). If something is missing, they will email us. Or we can check on-line. So one way or another, we'll find out very soon.

jane, thanks for sharing the information.

curious however, somebody received invitation so quickly. cannot understand why there's such a difference. anyway, the process is always a mystery.

My guess is the decision to grant interviews is based on a quick look at resume (and perhaps GPA+GMAT). I came to this conclusion based how fast some people have received the invite. There is no way the committee has gone through the entire file so quickly. That said, this is just my guess.

Don't worry. They are still sending out invites and will continue to do so. The timing of the invites doesn't mean anything. They do it in a random order...

I also applied for Yale R2. Got interview invitation last week.  still waiting to hear back from other schools..so stressful....
