谢谢前辈指点！会放手一搏好好申请。

但看了历届前辈的profile，还是会担心是否不管从课程以及实战项目的设置，还是今后提供的就业机会，在MKT方面，更适合已经做上管理层的申请者，对于我这种没有team management经验的申请者会不会有点暴殄天物了

很抱歉，没法具体，因为是从2015届再开始有，我们这届没有，但应该和常规的咨询/投行实习区别不小，因为IMD的暑假没有其他学校那么长

As of 2015, individual projects required for the completion of the IMD MBA program will be structured to allow for 4 to 6 weeks summer internships from the 2nd week of July to mid-August 2015.

IMD's MBA participants on average have seven years of international work experience, multiple language skills and, upon graduation, typically intent to change industry, geography or function. The individual project provides them with an opportunity to personalise their curriculum and develop specific skills and insights to facilitate that change. Based on the success of current projects, involving close cooperation with companies, the program as of 2015 strongly encourages such internship-type collaboration.

Collaborating companies will host an individual MBA participant (or a small MBA team of maximum 3 participants) working on an agreed-upon short term project of importance to the company. In addition to an extra set of hands, IMD MBA participants bring with them novel perspectives, fresh ideas, and diversified strengths and skill sets. Also, participating companies have used the internship to identify and "test-drive" potential employees. There is no fee but we would request that the MBA participants' housing during their practicum and travel expenses be reimbursed.

不同stage of life, 不同的industry选择都是很不同的选择

Thanks. If possible, can you or anybody else share the choice between Industry and Consulting? Nevermindband initially would like to get to consulting before he joined IMD, later he joined the industry though he get final chance to get to MCK(if I know correctly). Recently, he joined consulting again. I would like understand why he made those decisions? what are the factors. Appreciated.

关于他当初个人offer的情况，最好还是问本人
但是同学间关于去工业还是咨询的选择都是很个人的，咨询的package/工作性质/工作强度凡是MBA都是一样的，年纪大的同学并不一定合适，而且绝大多数中国籍的同学要做咨询都是回大陆
工业的选择就很多样，有的好有的一般，好的性价比比咨询高很多，有的则很一般
我建议你如果有意向去咨询，还是先申请top tier的MBA，然后有咨询offer了再慢慢考虑，因为哪怕好学校毕业，咨询也不是想申就能申请到的
