  Many people think that the main job of central bank is to keep the inflation rate low, but this concept has been outmoded.
  For many rich countries, the main question in front of the central bank is that the inflation rate is too low.

The negative effect of low inflation is hazardous. The economy may go back to deflation.
The example of Japan has showed that it is very difficult for a heavy debt country to get rid of deflation, the bad effect will happen in a circle.
The low inflation will make situation worse if the country only has one currency to moderate the influence.
