还需要注意的是：E只是说felt that participantion might improve……，是一个描述主观感受的句子，结果没出现，不具有所谓的削弱或加强功能。而像D，Several workers … reported that …　　work satisfaction had increased, 这说的是事实，具有明显的weaken功能。

E是因为主观感受而非客观事实所以不能削弱？

还是因为开始期待太高，所以之后失望了（这样属于加强吧？）

E is correct b/c it doesn't say anything to weaken the argument. It only says what they workers felt at the beginning, but not at the end of the prgram. So, how do the workers feel about the program when it is over, we don't know. Hence, E doesn't weaken the argument.

Got you! E neither weakens nor strengthens the argument,b/c their expectation has nothing to do with the satisfaction. And, as you said, it says nothing about the end of the program.
