Time6 (2’09) there are many misinformation about transgenic food, so there are many debate about GM food. What’s worse, the research of GM was driven by the profits, which limit the range and direction of the research.

Scientists are trying to modify some devices on the ITER, with those changes the risk will increase but the experiment will become smoother.
They want to add a device to emit the exhaust gas, but such device is susceptible to those highly active gases.
In addition, an out layer also planned to be placed on ITER, but the carbon out layer is very easy to react with the H gas.
Other two devices as the coils will also be added into the ITER, to make it more stable and prevent a sudden emission of gas.

timer的时间是指你看完的时间。Obstacle如果你觉得全部看完再写会记不住的话，也可以分开写的。其实obstacle主要就是训练看长文章的能力。刚开始会比较辛苦，可能看完就忘了，你可以先从speed部分练起。

  -Existing plans call for making ITER’s first divertor with an outer layer of carbon
  -To address that problem, planners had proposed running ITER for several years with the carbon-coated divertor, and then switching to one made of tungsten.
  -Despite this drawback of tungsten, STAC has recommended that ITER be built with a tungsten divertor from the start.
  -Although some fusion researchers think that it would be safer to start ITER with a well understood carbon divertor, allowing them to push the reactor to extremes in search of high performance, starting with tungsten has advantages,  too.
+the other one: The other design changes concern two separate magnetic coils to be inserted inside the reactor vessel to fine-tune control of the plasma.
   -Anything inside the vessel is subjected to extreme heat, radioactivity, and magnetic forces, so researchers had to persuade STAC that these two sets of coils could be made resilient enough to survive.
+STAC also took a hard look at the delivery schedule of components for ITER.
