Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The effective leader tries to make others feel they have been part of a decision.

We live in a world where technology and knowledge are accumulated exponentially and at the same time more and more advanced. Therefore, the competition among different companies has become increasing severe. In that condition, whether a leader of a company is effective or not is an essential factor in modern society. As far as I am concerned, nothing is more important than making workers feel they have been part of a decision.

It is one of human’s natures that everyone will consider himself firstly. Therefore, when workers join the decision, they will try their utmost to make it more perfect and feasible to make sure that they will benefit from it in the future. If they are isolated from decision, it is conceivable that they will just accept other’s suggestion without considering. On the other hand; as an old saying goes:‘God will make a mistake in thousand times’, managers often make some unreasonable choices even though they are smart and well-experienced. Workers who make decision together will point out their boss’s mistakes. For instance, Cao Cao, one of most powerful emperors in Chinese history, is always gathering all his counselors to make decision even though he is an outstanding manager.

Furthermore, workers who take part in decision will devote themselves to it in the future. The reason why some good decision didn’t result in a satisfactory goal is that workers didn’t execute the decision with imputes. To make workers more energetic, leader is supposed to bring home to them that the decision is closed related to themselves, that is, to make workers feel they have been part of the decision.

Admittedly, there are many other factors which can help leaders to be effective such as bonus system and strict schedule. However, I believe that the most useful way is to involve workers into everything that they are related to.  

To sum up, instead of sparing no effect to make a decision by himself, a leader ought to hold a meet to let his workers discuss about the whole subject, which is bounded up to their future.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Twenty years from now, students will no longer use printed books.

We live in a world where science and technologies are developed exponentially and at the same time become more and more advanced. Therefore, our life has become more convenient, especially when we want to read some book or news, so brilliant is the e-book that it almost replace printed book. However, is it reasonable to give up all of our printed books? My answer is negative.

Admittedly, there is no denying that the advantages of e-book such as portable, high-capacity and economical almost overwhelm us. We are able to touch the electric screen to read any books we want in anywhere rather than hold thick books. Moreover, in order to read hundreds of books, all we need is to buy an e-book instead of paying much more to buy or borrow books from book store.

However, the default of e-book leaves much to be desired. As we can see in our campus, the number of people who wear glasses is sharply increasing. I believe that one of reasons why students’ visions are becoming worse is that they use e-book or something with an electric screen too frequent. It is widely acknowledged that the radiation and abnormal lights of these equipments have great influences on eyes. We cannot emphasize the importance of protecting our eyes too much. Even though there exist of some methods to help us relax our eyes, they cannot help us from the origin. Take myself as an example, when I was eleven, my father bought me an e-book for a gift, which was so fascinating to me that I almost read every book on it. As a result, my vision became terrible. All the methods I later tried to repair my vision were useless until I ceased to use the it. Therefore, it’s better for students to read printed books as many as possible.

Furthermore, printed book is great invention derived from our ancestor and they contain abundant ideas and wisdoms based on ink and paper. When I smell the odor of printed book, I am being completely addicted to the charming of it. What’ more, one of most famous philosophers once said: ‘If you don’t take a note, you would not able to study well’. Printed books are more convenient for us to jot some ideas down, whereas it is difficult to write something  on an e-book.

By way of conclusion, I reaffirm the importance of printed books to our health and to reading itself. On no account should we ignore the value of printed books and abandon them in the future.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Getting advice from friends who are older than you is more valuable than getting advice from friends of your own age.

Said by Forrest Gump, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get’. However, in order to pick a delicious one, we always need other’s advices. Fortunately, we may get lots of advices from many people such as peers and older friends and it is important to choose a better one to put it into effect. As far as I am concerned, advices from older friends are more valuable than those from friends of your own age.

It is conceivable that experiences of older friends are more abundantand and useful. Maybe what you are doing now is just what they were doing in their past. Since they have gone through this period, they are supposed to own plenty of experiences and lessons that are pretty precious to you. On the country, unless your peers have advancing situations, most of them are doing same work. Advices heard from them are probably one-sided. Take my classmate Sunny as an example. We were all fresh at the beginning of college life. As I still learn from other fresh, she began to meet some older students and ask some advices about college life and study, especially on subjects stuff. Later I found it was hard to follow her step as she always understood what should be done and what shouldn’t. As aresult, she got the first at the end of semester. From this true story came a conclusion that older friends’ advices are so valuable that we ought to comply with.

Furthermore, we live in a world where competitions are becoming more and more drastic. Even though we should get along with other peers, there is no denying that the competitions among peers make them more selfish and aggressive. There is no one but longs to get a number one, thus perhaps advices provided by them pose a great threat to their goal. Therefore, advices supplied by them maybe contain few values but kinds of thing that makes them seem enthusiastic.

Admittedly, because of our own personal conditions or speedy development of life environment, advices of order friends are maybe not practical to us. In addition, their advices would be too strict for us to implement. However, thei radvices are still the best choice we should choose.

By way of conclusion, as old saying goes:'an old bird will not to be catchedwith chaff', advices of older friends are more valuable than those of peers. Therefore, on no account should we ingore olders' suggestion.
