Success is something that every one of usis drooling over and there are indeed various roads that take us to success, just like an old saying goes, “all road lead to Rome”. Among those roads, there are two that are always talked about: to act exactly like others and to keep different from others. As far as I’m concerned, I prefer to choose the latter path, namely, keeping distinct by following my own heart. Here are two cases inpoint that can best illustrate my point of view.（89字）

Thefirst case is famous Apple Inc. As is known to all, Apple is the company that dares to challenge and overturn the old routines by creating something thatnever exists before. The most renowned catchphrase of the company, “think different”,embodies in its unbelievable products. When other cell-phone manufacturers wereengaged in producing classic-designed cell-phones with colorful screen and QWERTY keyboard, Apple had taken steps to differentiate itself by launching a unprecedented product--iPhone. It’s multi-touch technology and no-keyboard design was soon to draw everybody’s attention, and iPhone sets a new industrial standard. The miraculous achievement of Apple Inc should be attributed to its keeping different from others. （109字）

中间段2：特斯拉电动汽车Tesla，超强动力，前沿设计，颠覆（overthrow）传统汽车行业以及人们对电动车的认知。

Another example is a star enterprise that seems to start a revolution in automobile industry--“Tesla”. “Tesla” is an electric vehicle manufacturer based in California,US. Different from traditional electric car manufacturer, Tesla has adopted anelectricity-based engine that delivers remarkable power and its acceleration reaches an unbelievable 5 seconds per 100-meter (much more than that of Golf by Volkswagen). Moreover, a breakthrough in batter technology makes it possiblethat a full-charged battery can support the car to run constantly for approximately 400 kilometers. The brand new powertrain and the extraordinary driving experience make Tesla a great hit across the United States.（102字）

让步：创新也有缺点，比如研发成本很高，造成资源浪费。但是（打压，次要问题）跟沿袭旧规、不思革新相比，创新的这些缺点是次要问题。所以还是要创新，还是要保持与众不同。

Admittedly，keeping different can haveone or two downsides. For instance, the cost will be high because everything starts from scratch, and one might go through trials and error at the verybeginning. However, high cost and making mistakes are a really minor issue ifwe take into consideration following the steps of predecessors and being content with the way things are without making any change. Therefore, being different is a must if one wants to be successful. （79字）

Ina nutshell, in order to be successful, one needs to think out of the box andkeep different than others. There is a widespread ideathat goes, Messi is the successor of Mara Dona in football and Bryant thesuccessor of Jordan in basketball. But in fact, nobody should bear theobligation to be the duplicate of someone else. Only if one chooses his ownroad, can his predecessor possibly be taken over.（74字）
