关于面试中"back up plan if you don't get admitted"的问题

Hi,  
I have a question regarding "back up plan if you don't get admitted" during interview.
Does anyone have good suggestion for this?
If I say I'll consider other schools, it seems like I don't commit to the school.
If I say I'll wait reapply the dream school next year, I'm afraid that they will put me on waitlist, for the "why now" concern.
