1 avoid hype like facebook's IPO in 2011
2 not need to provide many details which may be questioned by SEC and lead to bother unnerved investors
3 can only publish two years' financial reports
Critics:
this may lead investors to speculate the finance of Twitter and distract investors
Also,this may put small investors into disadvantage and smaller share of the whole IPO.Companies can talk to big investors directly(forbidden in usual)

The benefits of less leverage:less likely to bankrupt
However,equity actually is dearer than debts.Less leverage may not be a good thing.
Liquidity premium.
Debt let banks to have liquidity premium.If less leverage,liquidity premium will be narrowed and banks should use leverage to compensate.
These actions will bring more risks in society.
