It is like a bind date, but more is complex than the bind date. The author also thinks that the arranged marriage is caste-based and religon-based but is evolving .

article 5: 2'15'' [435]it is about the embarrassment of sleeping with a husband who you barely know. Most of women feel uncomfortable about this. They do not want to take off their clothes in front of a strange guy. In an arranged marriage, brides are not used to have sex with their husband. They refer to internet forums, but it doesnt work for them due to the culture difference.

Most of women , especially a virgin,  feel hard to have sex with her husband because they have a high expectation about sex.
