On a scale that measures the intensity of a certain phnomenon, a reading of n+1 corresponds to an intensity that is 10 times the intensity corresponding to a reading of n. On that scale, the intensity corresponding to a reading of 8 is how many times as great as the intensity corresponding to a reading of 3?

Answer: 10^5

不好意思问一下，怎么会想到把n换成7的

+1 代表多十倍, 所以 if n=1, 那 intensity reading 2 是 1 的十倍, 3 是 2 的 十倍 - 相對於是 1 的 10x10=100 倍, 所以 intensity reading of 8 is 10x10x10x10x10 than that of 3.
