本科211，985+美硕，想申marketing或者management方向的phd，求定位

小妹出来，最近刚准备申请14年的phd，本科211，985，GPA3.57/4。美硕GPA：3.38/4。GMAT：700。没有什么强的研究文章。。。。也没有当过RA。。。。只是有过在fortune 500的一段工作经历。。。。想申请Marketing 或者management的phd,不知道各位大牛有什么推荐。。。我知道我BG弱爆了。。。

Try to obtain some research experience if possible. RA work is helpful but usually does not amount to research per se.

Spend a month in the summer going through all the mgt/mkt programs, especially faculty's research interests, to identify your own.  

Undergraduate and graduate majors are not mentioned. Graduate gpa is a bit too low. GMAT scores are ok but are not glowing. Generally, 700 is not sufficient for top programs.

Focus on mgt programs, which are much less competitive than mkt ones and have more sub-fields to choose from.

Thanks a lot. Undergrad major is international economy and trade. grad major is marketing analytics.
