MBA is not a decoration of degree. It's a natural extension of your self-development. At some point of your career, you'll feel the need to pursue that path, regardless of how long you have worked. Only at that moment can you make a convincing arguement about why you want to pursue MBA. It does't matter too much whether it's 2 years or 3 years. But ask yourself, are you truly ready to do so?
2 year experience can work if you have demonstrated sufficient leadership potential and are truly at the crossing road of further development. Usually, it takes 3-4 years to reach at point.
Cross-cultural background and experience will definitely help. Again, ask yourself what are the impacts of those experience on you and how those experience make you different from others in terms of what you think of yourself and what you think of the world.
