请教一道OG上的题目

关于E中的解释请教两个问题：
1. raised是过去时，而主句是现在时“say”，这样表达是否合理？因为E中说这是grammatical的。
2. for a recovery finally under way是awkward?那么awkward何在？

问题1：这个E选项时态不准确哦。answer E changes the tense. Now, we could write this sentence using present perfect or we could write it using past - both are okay.
But they do mean two different things, obviously:
present perfect means it's still true that the hopes are raised and simple past means it was just in the past.
然后根据A选项的原始意思（不考虑其他的错误）我们还是应该选择现在完成时，代表着这个东西还是有效果的~但是这道题考点不在时态上哦！
问题2：这个结构确实不对，raise hope后面跟随的是hope的内容，E选项的错误"raised hopes for X <a recovery finally underway>"我们原来想要强调的其实是这个recovery is finally underway，就是“recovery来了”这个事，但是E选项的结构明显只强调了这个recovery。for+n是只强调这个名词，至于这个名词怎么了，并没有强调之，故，意思不准确

1，能否用raised过去时态
1）觉得一般而言还是不可以时态混用的，表示现在的时态与表示现在的时态一起用，表示过去的时态也是~
2）但是如果句子中有明确表示时间状语的短语，可能出现时态混用，也有见过这样的题目，刚去找找不到了sorry楼主。。
2，where is awkard？
有一些词语，比如evidence/hope/convince/find/reveal等等通常后面都是加一个that从句。因为如果加名词的话，正如楼上所说，强调的重点不一样。本题中hope for recovery只是强调了recovery没有把recovery怎么样的整体信息都表达出来。
可以参考下面几道题：Prep07-17  Prep07-76，OG12也出现过~

1. past-tense的使用确实不准确，因为这个recovery一直持续到现在
2. 至于raised hopes for a recovery finally underway...我感觉只是说和原句的意思不一样可能不是其awkward来源~这里的可能是不是因为歧义？因为finally也可能是作为副词修饰raised?

一己之见，愿探讨之。

查到了Baby姐的原话，这里的Awkwardy确实来自于finally~因为副词的修饰范围很广，在使用时必须小心，因为很可能产生歧义！

副词的修饰对象非常广泛，Manhattan p.83说：
形容词只能修饰名词或代词
副词不能修饰名词、代词，除此之外几乎所有东东都能修饰，包括..... prep phrase ....

所以这里finally作为副词，是可以修饰under way的....   "finally under way"
OG自己也承认，E语法上没错误(grammatical)

说E不make sense，我觉得Stacey解释的很好，如果我没理解错，她想说：
hopes for a recovery
hopes that a recovery is finally under way
以上两种表达都make sense，但是"hopes for a recovery finally under way"就不make sense

这对于native speaker来说，很显然。咱如果语感没那么强，就看不出这种细微的awkward. 所以Stacey也说，这题排除E选项，还是从“改变了时态”这点去突破，她也说OG居然没指出E的这个错误——我发现Ron他们一再说OG的题目很好但解释很敷衍。

A recovey is finally under way.

这两种表达除了一个是独立句子，一个是noun phrase. 意思上是不是不一样呀？
A recovery finally under way  强调的重点是 ...的recovery
A recovery is finally under way. 强调的重点是 recovey 做什么。

Apolloemma

但是我觉得D不好，是出现了finally, 不是要用将来式，这里是的一般现在式。

难道这里是一般现在时，表示一般将来式。
