At the beginning, the author mentions the C's merits in the Union city where he was appointed to a mayor. Then, the author analyzes his larger and national motivation behind the recent move, because without that move, he can easily win the near election. Then, the author focuses more on the political standpoint of C, which baffles me a lot. Concretely speaking, according to the author, C is not a centrist or moderate and wants to directly and effectively grapple with the social problem. In addition, by closely looking into him, the author deems that although he is a Republication, he often considers and takes some Democrat-like meausres, revealing his vague line between R and D.
Finally, the author also briefly and concisely discusses his weakness or Achilles' heel in his future nation-wide election. However, the author still backs him and considers him promising and up-and-coming.
