Hi there, and thanks for your question! As you already know, these two programs are very different and therefore can lead to different careers. Before you make your decision, I’d really suggest you take some time and do a bit of industry research. Logistics & Supply Chain is an operational kind of program, and you need to be able to deal with a lot of planning and scheduling. Comparatively, in a Scientific Computing program, you will do much more quantitative work. So the ultimate question is: which kind of work best suits your interests? Another thing to consider is where you want to work after graduation. NYU has an excellent reputation locally, and they can provide much support in finding a job in the US. Hope this helps!
