这篇文章我一直有点模糊。特别是第三段。始终没法理解

感觉上是说由于C. Vann Woodward的的lectures是在supreme court 对布朗案的判决之后才发表的，所以有事后诸葛亮的嫌疑，但并不妨碍它对历史有了新的理解。大家怎么看呢，有没有nn可以大概翻译一下？
