The professional athletes such as the football player and basketball player deserved high salaries to be paid.

Accompanying with the commercialization development of modern professional athletics, more and more people choose to join into the family of professional athletes. Whether professional athletes should deserve high salaries or not,recently, has provoked wide discussion. People who support professional athletes should not be paid with high wages usually consider the clubs they work for has supplied everything. As far as I am concerned, it is rational that professional athletes deserve high pay.

First of all, athletes starting professional training when they were young kids spend more time and energe than those general persons. When their classmates go home or play with some little friends outside after school, what they can do just admire them, then put on the sport costumes and finish their training items. Despite some of them with low sports talent, in order to realize the dream, they may not only keep moving day and night, but also make greater efforts. For example, Gilbert Arenas, one of the famous NBA basketball players who was just selected as a second round rookie, spend more than ten hours one day improving his skill.

Furthermore, high danger is best company with professional athletics all thetime. Because professional athletes always would like to be the hero in the heart of the audiences, even to be the flag of the whole city, they must trytheir best to show themselves on the contest court. Every professional, during their entire career lives, have to face injury more or less. Sometimes, maybe they have to fall down on the area which they love so much and never stand upagain.

Finally, as professional athletes, they must build up one team and hire kinds of roles serving for themselves, such as trainer charging for daily professional training, physical therapist who help them relax after matches or training and agent who is responsible for discussing contract details with the employer or commerce representitive.

To sum up, as professional athletes, based on their performance on thecourt, they should deserve their high salaries, no matter how much convenience clubs provide or how much money they get from commercial advertisement.

To increase the economic growth, government can neglect environmental growth.

    Nowadays, there is a general debate over whether or not government can concentrate on the economic growth by neglecting environmental protection. Some people maintain that ignoring environment will result in citizens living with various diseases and prevent the economic from developing sustainably. However, others believe the economic growth should not been given up in order to protect the environment. I myself think both make sense to some degree.
   
    To begin with, neglecting environmental growth affects people's health. Since paying no attention to environmental protection can lead to kinds of environmental issues, such as air contamination, water pollution and global warming, then people cannot avoid diseases, like skin disease and even diverse cancers. As a result, even if the economic acquires highly developed, people cannot enjoy the fascinating accomplishment and grant the government. According to one recent investigation, as the modernization process develops progressively, comparing with people who live in the underdeveloped areas, citizens of those developed cities have higher probability of infecting cancer.

    Additionally, ignoring environmental protection renders the economic growth unable to keep sustainable. Because the economic development must rely on diverse natural resources, such as coal, crude oil and water, then, if government made use of these resources without constraint, those nonrenewable resources would be depleted one day. Consequently, there would be little space leaving for children or grandchildren to survive and develop. On the contrary, supposing authorities took notice of the impact on the later generations, they would rely on these resources with restriction and spend more time on the research of renewable energy.

    Undeniably, there might be some little problems if government totally gave up increasing the economic in order to protect the environment. For example, in order to decrease the emission of the greenhouse gas and the depletion of crude oil and coal, government need citizens to abandon all vehicles, including private cars, buses and metro. It is obvious that giving up these convenience and going backward are inaccessible. As a result, if viewed from a different perspective, the authorities should not give up anyone of economic growth and environment protection, which means that government should strike a balance between them. As long as government can hold the balance, there is no need to worry it anymore.

    All in all, from what has been discussed above, due to the interactive relation between economic development and environmental protection, government should look for methods for striking a balance and sustainable development.
