想请问ricelover GG:你的材料寄去Austin多久才可以查询到已经locate到数据库里的? 我12月13号就寄到学校的推荐信,resume,还有transcript,到现在我去查我的材料状态,都还是没入库的状态....说是说现在申请材料太多,最多需要等3周时间才能入库,可是最近又是放假,还不知得等多久,唉.....

你的面试通知是最近收到的吗?怎么他们没放假还在工作吗?

这是我当时(11.10)收到的一份来自UT Austin的信,从中你应该可以知道他们今年是如何操作的.

Thank you for your recent application to the McCombs School of Business. As you may know by now, you will receive correspondence from two campus offices during the admissions process: the MBA Program Admissions Office and the Graduate and International Admissions Center (“GIAC”).

All applications to the McCombs MBA Program are first processed by GIAC. GIAC ensures that all application materials have arrived, that transcripts are official, and that each applicant has the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelors degree. Once all parts of the application (application, fee, transcripts, resume, test scores, and letters of recommendation) are received, official and processed, the applications are sent to the MBA Program office to begin the review process.

我是在１２．２２收到面试邀请（我在第一轮递的材料）．现在应该是他们较忙的一段时间，所以可能处理材料的周期会长些，不要着急，只要你已经交了所有的申请材料，你的信息应该会在１月上旬进入档案库．如果有缺，他们会发mail给你．

Juan MM是赶在第二轮，第二轮的deadline是在2月1号，因为有的学校是等deadline一过才统一看材料，不知道德大是不是这样。妹妹可以打电话去问问。

噢，是这样。下个月20号德州有个MBA tour， MM要是在美国的话，可以去参加一下。

我10月29日Submit的材料，10月份T电话送分，Austin的12月1日才确认我的材料全齐（只是确认材料齐全就花了一个多月）。感觉效率很低，对这个学校的印象变差了很多。

同感同感，我已经找了两个校友了，都过圣诞去了，没一个理我的。感觉跟Austin打交道就像更政府机构打交道，一切公事公办，想投诉还找不到地方。
