I am sorry that we did not describe the address clearly.  Fortunately, if you read all information and links of this thread, you can be pretty well informed as of a "freshman".  Thank you.

谢谢。有个问题想问一下,中国人从UNC毕业后在美国好找工作么?

UNC is a traditionally strong school, and the recent bw ranking further demonstrates that.

but why does the job acceptance rate seem inferior to other peers? the average gmat is also sliding. any insights on that?

接到UNC的面试邀请. 我在CANADA, 正在考虑是校园面试还是校友面试. 校友面试是Carlo de Girolamo. 有人了解他的情况吗?

If I say the job opportunity is not very closely associated with the school name, as long as it is a fair school, I think I am telling the truth.  This is a very complex question.  lease also refer to the other posts I linked in this thread for job search experiences.  If you ask me what plays the most important role in job search, it is of course "good luck"!  You can also go to the Chinese MBA applicant website we UNC Chinese students prepared for more information.

The fact that I can tell you is that most UNC graduates are now working in the US, some may not have perfect jobs though (it also depends on how you define "perfect").  Several did have difficulty finding a job in the US, but you cannot blame the school.  Off-campus job search is important to students in most schools in bad job markets.

You have to talk with more MBA graduates to understand the job search in the US.  It's very important.  The aforementioned is just my personal experience.

To be honest, I do not understand what the ratios mean.  I actually did not care it.  My personal opinion is: offers are important but GMAT scores are not.  Why do you care the GMAT score?  To be honest, UNC is a public school and usually did not care ranking as much as private schools.  The reason is simple: the ranking does not affect much to the budget of the school, if not at all.  But students got angry to that.  So the school decided to do something to make it better.  The Dean, a magic man as many applicants may know, would like to advance UNC to top 10 in major rankings in several years.  I hope so.  But I know that this is not the real challenge.  Even it does not achieve this objective, I do not care.  Rankings are not very difficult to manipulate, somewhat.  The real challenge to a public school is "money"!  The school just named an associate dean responsible for raising money.  Hope this works.

I have no idea.  The only thing I am somewhat sure is that if you go for a campus interview and can meet a decision maker, and if you really impressed him/her, you have a better chance to get an offer.  An alum cannot give you an offer.  But if you impressed the decision maker negatively, unfortunately, you will have a straight fail.  You decide!

谢谢yale. 我已经给Carlo de Girolamo发了信. 如果无法面试安排在我居住的城市, 我会选择校园面试.
