6月8号就要考了，今天才写第一次，感觉很久都写不出东西来，7天憋出6个字的心情。差不多1个多小时写的……

题目：你同意下面这个观点吗：business should do anything they can to make a profit

Some people think that business should doanything they can to make a profit, while I strongly hold the opposite opinion.There are many other factors that successful business ought to concern. Makingmoney but neglecting these factors seems too selfish.

First and foremost, business related toindustry sometimes can be unfriendly to the environment. For instance, therehave been a growing number of new factories in my city in the past few decades.Some chemistry factories have severely contaminated our living conditions. Emissionand chemical particle polluted the air, and effluent water contaminated theriver. Once I can smell the fragrance of the flowers and see the bright greenof the grass---Now, the picturesque view of my city seems to have disappeared. Moneyis just paper printed every day. A good living condition and sustainabledevelopment are our permanent goals after all.

What’s more, some unconscious producersmake harmful goods especially in catering industry. They put chemical additionsinto the food just to make them good-looking or taste better. Conspicuouslysuch junk food will harshly damage the health of people who have bad immunesystems especially of children and infants. Necessary costs shouldn’t be cutoff, because a good body is priceless. Another thing I want to take a glance isthat not-qualified products, from my view, will cause serious consequences thatwe cannot control. For example, a car without proper equipment may broke outhalfway; fake medicine may make symptoms even worse; a rope without accurateexamination will absolutely cause people die in Bungee jumping.

In addition, successful business shouldcontribute to the community. Serving from heart and soul, needless to say, isthe essence of a company. We residents offer them platforms for developing, soit’s their duty to give us best goods and services. Though business is notcharity, making money is somewhat shouldn’t be the only purpose. The moremanagers concentrate on the improvements of products and the trust from customers,the better fame they can obtain, which means much more than growing profits inthe accounting sheets.

When people mention business, of coursethey think about money, but other factors should not be ruled out when mangersmake strategies because money is not everything. As a result, it is notrational to say that business should do anything they can to make a profit.
