这篇电影的话题真是悲剧了…

At the beginning, S’s statement is mentioned that he is going to make a film about N according to K’s novel, arising a deal of attention and a volley of critics.

In the subsequent main paragraphs, the author seems to discuss the critics of movie other than the recent news of S’s movie and also, the key word, which I don’t grasp even when finishing the reading, is “sentimentality”.

Only at the end of the reading, does the author introduce the recent news of the film about N again and differentiate the film about K and N succinctly.
