这道题估计很多人都喜欢像你一样把目光聚焦在so that. 但是我要说的是allow that it can本身就有问题，我在谷歌上搜不到这样的句子。
当然我不知道这处是什么 语法错误，但是其实翻译成汉语这个句子也很蹩脚；“我允许你有可能” “我命令你不一定要” “我肯定他似乎可以” 这叫人家谁能听得懂？
当然一个错误的选项有很多错误，so that 的问题 有人答的很好转给你
so that (the original construction) implies a sense of purpose, intent, or design, while and so merely implies consequence, whether designed or arbitrary. for instance:
jim left his parents' back door open so that his friends can come take the liquor --> jim left the door open with this particular nefarious purpose in mind
jim left his parents' back door open, and so his friends can come take the liquor --> jim happened to leave the back door open, an oversight allowing his less straitlaced friends access to the alcohol

对不起啊，我把问题打错了其实我想问D当中and so 这种用法对吗？
我知道allow that是允许的意思在这里确实不恰当，但我很纠结and so 在这里合不合理
因为我看到网上有人排除D是因为and so
但是我个人以为and so 是对的
可以帮我解答下吗？谢谢你

1；  这种用法对我来说很别扭，
2； 我觉得so在此做连词不宜再加一个连词就像；“I am hungry,because i didn't eat ……”你如果说and because……这算什么？
3 ；我还是说gmat一般错误选项都不止一处错误的，
4；so that其实经常省略that只用so其实还是so that  ，

我刚刚仔细想了一下，我觉得是不是这样的：
D选项的and so 后面的an attacker...明显是与前面的draw in its exposed parts 有关，但如果用了",and"这样的结构是与主句平行的，因此，D中"，and so"实际上造成了逻辑上的不平行。

英语不是数学题，可以有很多思路-其实数题也一样可以有。 你所说的或者我还没有领会到吧
但是我说的你没有认真看，这样不好。有时候多听一些别人的建议可以少走弯路。我认为  ",and so……" 本身就有问题，在谷歌里搜索一下，没有人这样用。
至于平行结构，我从来都不喜欢。这是一种懒人的办法。而且让你错过很多真正的知识。
当然如果你认为我说的是有问题的，但碍于情面只是不便指出来。那只能让我继续无知下去

1. 情态动词can这里是不能用的。本身是被allow的，和can表达的主观意愿的意思相违背。
2. so在此处肯定是连词，and和so两个连词连续出现，显然重复。我能想到的and so只有在so做副词，用作and so does A的时候才成立。如果要用需要改成and therefore，连词+副词。
