perp中一道数学题 答案n>17 and n<18直接取n=18是怎么回事?

DS题 题干：问现在公司有多少员工？
（1）If 3 additional hired, there will be at least 20
（2）If 3 resign,there will be fewer than15

我一直搞不清这种表达带不带等号，一般情况下我是不带的，题说inclusive才带。
联立X+3>20
       X-3<15
得17<X<18
这我就十分纠结了，无解阿，回头看就算带等号那也是有两解阿，于是我就选了E。

可是答案说（1）（2）together,ranges are limited to n>17 and n<18,and the value can be determined to be 17。

我已经泪牛满面了，求大神解答！！！！

(1)应该是X+3＞=20，是有等号的，因为用了at  least 至少有20个人，意思就是有20或20以上的人。

（2）用的是fewer  就一定是小于，没有等号！

嗯,再问一下,那开区间是用more than? 那小于等于怎么表达呢? no more than是开还是闭?

more than 是开区间。

no more than 要么等于要么小于，就是闭区间。

其实你就想下，等于这个数的时候能不能符合这个表达。
