I vote for A.

I chose A at first, but later feel like E is better.

If A is right, then paragraph 2 and 3 have totally no use then. We all know "a particular field" means "behavioral sciences",  but the trick is the word "affected the prestige": it could be positively affected ( described in p1) or negatively affected ( desscribed in p2 and p3) . So I think E is better to topic.

anyway, I love your explanation. Pointing out that the first paragraph is talking about positive factors, this explanation perfectly showed that E is the best choise instead of A, which only summarizes the idea of the first paragraph.

个人一点意见：

文章脉络：第一句提出了作者的观点：进行改变（should
                be gaining prominence）。然后说明学科重要性，通过学科自身说明了为什么要改变，二三两段通过论述学科在学校的情况以及学生对其的态度，与第一段学科的重要性对比，说明为什么要改变，所以应该选A。E只是概括了2，3段的内容。

我今天做到第2遍，这个问题蹦出来了，原来是道悬题。

我拿到的答案是E，但我比较支持A。

因为这篇文章是结论解释型的，结论就是P1开始的TS句：Behavior science courses should be gaining prominence in business school curricula.（TS句）

下面的内容都是围绕这个TS句的，实际上Q9/Q10两道题都在从不同的角度来考对TS句的理解。

我觉得E是detail，细节

不过要是考试有这题，就惨了，呵呵
