宾语从句的that为什么这题可以省略。。prep 214

prep笔记上写的是舍呢么嵌入式关系分句，我分析不出来是，看了一下以前的帖子也都认为是普通的定语从句里面套宾语从句，可是有一点疑问！！宾语从句的that不是不能省略的么。who once thought 后面应该有that才对啊！！ 为什么这里没有？？

这个题应该是属于争议题，虽然答案很好选，但是里面的知识点会有一点分歧，其中一个分歧就是that加不加的的问题（LZ亲的问题），首先，gmat的原则就是宾语从句that不可省略，但是出现了rare exception：believe.think suppose presume 等动词后的that常常不必使用（理由是：即使省略了that，但是句子含义明确，可以接受）；然后呢，中文版的语法书里面，对于定语从句的用法有一条规定： that在定语从句中充当动词的宾语,可以省略，所以，这道题就是可以理解的啦
