这个题目其实大家说的已经很细致了。我还是那个问题，A还是E的问题。

不过我明白大家说的E是前半句的结果，而不是那5个鸟。我的问题是怎么避免以后在这样的问题上避免选错呢？？

我当时做这个题目的时候就是犹豫A和E，并且觉得可能A是指出前面句子的结果，但是我觉得说5只鸟引来了34鸟没逻辑错误啊？？不就是跟前面的句子关系没那么密切么？？这个就决定它错了？？

请教各位，我就是想知道，考试的时候碰上这样的题到底怎么能确定下来？谢谢谢谢先~~~~~~~

不是eagles bring，应该是left这个动作bring

佩服大侠的钻研精神，想必降龙十八掌已练得炉火纯青了。

根据OG解释，leave 和bring是两个动作，两个同时发生的动作，那么-ing肯定比and表达更清楚，and表示动作有先后之分。—ing分词的两个作用表示伴随结果和动作，这里是表示动作。建议参考：

49. The cameras of the Voyager II spacecraft detected six small, previously unseen moons circling Uranus, which doubles to twelve the number of satellites now known as orbiting the distant planet

(A)  which doubles to twelve the number of satellites now known as orbiting

(B)   doubling to twelve the number of satellites now known to orbit

(C)  which doubles to twelve the number of satellites now known in orbit around

(D)  doubling to twelve the number of satellites now known as orbiting

(E)   which doubles to twelve the number of satellites now known that orbit

The pronoun which should be used to refer to a previously mentioned noun, not to the idea expressed in an entire clause. In A, C, and E, which seems to refer to a vague concept invol­ving the detection of moons, but there is no specific noun, such as detection, to which it can refer. Also in E, the use of the phrasing the number... now known that orbit is ungrammatical and unclear. B and D use the correct participial form, doubling, to modify the preceding clause, but D, like A, uses known as orbiting rather than known to orbit, a phrase that is more idiomatic in context. B, therefore, is the best answer.

根据白勇的《GMAT语法全解》中的解释，现在分词短语在句尾有两种情况：（1）表伴随动作、状态、功能，与句子谓语动作同时发生，逻辑主语等与句子主语；（2）表伴随结果，整个句子是原因，导致分词动作产生，无逻辑主语。

A的bringing，在这里是第二种情况，表伴随结果，整个句子是原因，导致分词动作产生，无逻辑主语

OK！多谢wwwhahchn和Maggieyin 的细心解释，可能两位是以为我没明白为什么选伴随表示结果。

但是我其实想问的是怎么判断出来后半句要表示的是结果？？如果能确定后半句是前面的结果当然我知道用分词表示。比如Maggieyin给的例子很明显：6个小卫星本身不可能加倍已知卫星的数目，而必须是经过那个....飞船上的照相机探测才能加倍已知卫星的数目，所以只可能是做结果伴随。

但是我觉得259题，如果说鸟本身带回来34只别的鸟好像也能说的过去呀？？当然说是5只鸟飞出去这件事情导致又带回来34只鸟也没问题。

换句话说，我就是想请教怎么才能准确的判断出来什么时候是结果伴随？？什么时候不是？？？两个题目本身我理解。

个人理解，不一定正确，望指正。

两种情况应依据上下文逻辑关系来判断，如果句子主语能够完成分词的动作，则表示第一种情况；如果句子主语不能够完成分词的动作，则表示第二种情况。

如wwwhahchn所言，“OG49应该是现在分词短语在句尾，表伴随结果” cameras of the Voyager II spacecraft肯定不能增加卫星数目。应属于第二种情况。那么，我在四楼提供这个例子来表示伴随动作是不恰当的。对于OG259，我开始也很迷惑，是第一，还是第二？但直觉很强烈，E不如A。OG解释A两个同时发生的动作，而且这两个动作还存在因果关系。那么是不是可以认为两种情况有统一的时候呢？

再回到OG49，根据解释，是detection导致了卫星数目增加的结果，我觉得ETS很较真。卫星和卫星的发现是两回事，我们要熟悉他们的考点。其它考题也出现过类似的情况，例如：重复的建筑物和建筑物的重复，升高的物价和物价的升高。白勇语法题一道为例：

29． Building large new hospitals in the bistate area would constitute a wasteful use of resources， on the basis of avoidance of duplicated facilities alone.
（A）on the basis of avoidance of duplicated facilities alone
（B）on the ground of avoiding duplicated facilities alone

晕死！！！选E？？？！！我懂你意思。你是说这个题的逻辑关系是“避免职员的冗余”而不能是“避免冗余的职员”是吧？确实好题目。完全考逻辑Dwhile的关系不正确，且不平行结构错，不过我觉得E的IF是怎么想出来的？？

另外in that能前面有逗号嘛？这个题考试给我我肯定死了

OG里考逻辑的语法题也不少，譬如是有一道是双胞胎兄弟之间器官移植，查一下。
