025 It has recently been announced that a large shopping center may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
Whether building a large shopping center is good or not is a controversial topic in my neighborhood. There are some people who think that building a large shopping center in our neighborhood is good, but others oppose this view and think that it is not very good. I would have to say that, if I were faced with this issue, I would probably agree with the first one. In the following discussion, I would like to reason and provide evidence to support my viewpoint.
No issue is more important now than the one that refers to convenience. Facts witness and present many examples. People would like to have all those stores close by. Shopping will be much easier and faster because people would not have to drive a long distance to get to the store. Besides, a large shopping center would mean more choices, because there will be more stores selling different products. Most shopping centers also include movie theatres, restaurants, or a food court in their plans. That means people in our neighborhood would have a great variety of place to entertain themselves or to enjoy themselves in our area. Don’t you think these examples quoted above are very persuasive?
That there will be more opening job positions in our area is another head and chief reason that I have chosen to put here. It is no better illustration that can demonstrate the view. Not only building a large shopping center needs many labors, but also a large number of job opportunities will be offered in the large shopping center after it is built. Undoubtedly, lots of unemployed labors would be settled and economy will be developed in our area if a large shopping center is built in our neighborhood. If you can see that, you can understand it more deeply.
Superior as building a large shopping center in our neighborhood is, however, it also has its own demerits, such as noise and a decrease in security. Nevertheless, the advantages of building a shopping center carry more weight than that of disadvantage of it, so the most striking conclusion is obvious.
To sum up, given the reasons discussed above, which sometimes intertwine to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive, we can safely reach the conclusion that building a large shopping center in our neighborhood is better than not. In fact, not only do I prefer to building a large shopping center in our area, but also prefer to construct other buildings that can bring us convenience and economic benefits as many as possible.
