Just found this wonderful place. Thank God it's not too late.

I just made a stupid mistake. I misspelled a professor's name that I mentioned in my essay. What can I do? The application has been submitted. Feel so bad......... Any suggestions would be great

Forget it and prepare for interview. They will not reject a candidate simply because he does not spell correctly a certain professor's name.
