第一题比较简单,结论是课堂教学对减少飞行员犯错误无效,理由是没有实践.那么假设就是缺少实践使飞行员犯错误造成飞行事故.

Spot the question type: Necessary assumption

Core of the argument

C - A should rethink their training approach to reduce commercial crashes

why ? because no measure of the training programs -1 increasing the hours of classroom instruction and 2 emphasizing communication skills in the cockpit can compensate lacks of actual flying time.

So, based on the argument, lacks of actual flying time must be the core of pilot error, contributing to 2/3 of all crashes.

Answers.

a. Training program " does not " eliminate pilot errors. It does not need to eliminate the pilot errors, all. we want to be sure of is if the the training approach should be rethought

b. commercial pilots does not routinely undergo additional training throughout their careers. - Non relevant

C. The " numbers " of airline crashes will " not decrease " if pilot training programs focus on increasing actual flying time - So, here is the problem, we only need to ensure that pilot error will not contribute to 2/3 of all crashes, or we need to rethink it. But number and percentage are not the same things.

D. Lack of actual flying time is " not " an important contributor to pilot in commercial plane crashes

* if lacking of actual fly time is not the core factor of the crashes, then why we " must ' be rethink the training approach ?  apparently its about regarding the % of the pilot error contributing to crashes

E. not relevant to the core.
