我不明白的地方是so that在这里说是引导目的性状语，但是so that 不是也可以表示结果。用目的来看确实逻辑不对，但是如果表结果能说得通，我就是不明白逻辑的问题，
s.v.o. + so that + 情态动词+ v.引导的是目的性状语

是不是在这种状况下都是so that 表示目的不能表示结果

so that 等于中文的为了，表示主观目的，显然这里不是chimpanzees的主观目的。

很多时候不需要太钻语法书，语法书是后人总结的规律，但对外国人来说，他们就是绝对不会用so that。

如果一定要钻语法的话，即使so that表示结果，也是表示主观期待的结果（≒目的）
