Patience is usually not a good strategy . We should take action now rather than later .

Some people hold the opinion that patience is a great strategy while others think that people should take action before it is too late. As far as I am concerned, I agree with the former view that people should be patient to prepare and then take action. I shall illustrate my reasons as followed.

Patience offers people time to prepare enough. If a person rashly do whatever he or she wants to do, the results sometimes can be not satisfactory. Take stock as a instance. If the person is eager to earn a lot of money by selling the share of certain stock when it is still rising, he or she may just have a small fortune and sometimes because he or she does not analysis the stock well, the person can lose money quickly. Whereas a patient person always takes time to weigh pros and cons before making a decision, it is more likely to have a rational conclusion.

Further, patience provides people with clear mind. There is a Chinese old saying that sit there to have a clear mind when things are complicated, which means that taking the first step is not always a good thing, especially when the person does not figure out the situation. It is easy to make mistakes when a person take action without hesitate.

What is more, patient people can get a better results. Truly, waiting for a long time can be suffering because people do not know whether their waiting is worthwhile but it is patience that great people have as one of the traits. A professor from Harvard has been doing research for thirty years until he publishes a paper about the relationship between IQ and life longevity. A Danish writer used up all his life to write just one book that is full of wisdom. One just has 24 hours a day and 365 days a year and he or she needs to have proper rest to keep up the energy when working, which is difficult to have two or more people's working load and still be efficient with few mistakes.

On the contrary, people are easy to focus on one project to limit the mistake as well as to improve the quality. Their minds are thinking the related content of one topic at one time, they can collect as much information as possible based on what is done and what is missing according to the materials. Because they concentrate on one project, they have inclination to do it more carefully without disturbance by other things. In this way, they will correct mistakes to make the result more fabulous and qualified.

First and foremost, many people are suffering from poverty and hunger so government should meet their needs fist. A group of people are homeless who are sitting on the streets begging people to give them a penny and others may jobless because of the depression of economy these years, which government should really pay attention to. Without government's support, they might be disappointed to have nowhere to live and eat and even nobody to be taken care of. This also means that it is not a civilized and developed country.

Further, government should spend money on basic need in order to ensure the safety of society. If basic need is not satisfied, many people are triggered to steal and rob other people to gain money, which is a horrible situation occurring since everybody's fortune and life are in danger. Some people have no real jobs to do so they become gangsters who are threatening the safety and stability of peaceful society, therefore the society would have more potential crimes. To help build up a harmonious society, government ought to take meeting basic needs into serious consideration.

What is more, meeting basic need exerts positive effects on reducing the gap between the rich and poor.
